Candler Park Golf Course Grand Reopening

Candler Park Golf Course, a 9-hole public course in northeast Atlanta, first opened in 1927 and remains a favorite among local golfers. The course temporarily closed in April 2025 to upgrade its greens with a more resilient, shade-tolerant grass—an improvement driven by community feedback. These renovations promise smoother play and a better overall golf experience.

Event Highlights (10 a.m. – 2 p.m.):
• Competitions: Straightest Drive & Closest to the Pin
• Games & family activities
• Free snacks and refreshments
• Meet the golf team and fellow players

The event is free and open to the public—no golf experience needed.
Tee times available starting at 9:30 a.m. and can be booked beginning July 18 at cityofatlantagolf.com.
